A clinical trial for restoring healthy gut bacteria in organ transplant recipients with C. diff.
We are studying how transplanting healthy gut bacteria from a donor can be used to restore the gut bacteria in organ transplant recipients. We believe this can be a highly effective and safe treatment for conditions like C. difficile (known as C. diff).
Who is Participating
- Adults at least 18 years of age who have received a solid organ transplant
- Must have had at least one recurrence of C. diff
- As of January 31, 2023, RECOVER is no longer enrolling new participants
